  • Screwdriver or Drill
  • Tape Measure or Ruler
  • Wrench

Step 1: Measure the Height from the Bed Rail to the Floor

  1. Get a Tape Measure: Use a tape measure or ruler.
  2. Find the Bed Rail: Locate the horizontal bar on the side of your bed.
  3. Measure to the Floor: Hold the tape measure at the bottom of the bed rail and pull it straight down to the floor. Note the number where the tape meets the floor and write it down for the next steps.

Step 2: Attach the Glide to the Support or Extension

  1. Check the Height: Look at the height measured in Step 1.
  2. If over 12 Inches:
    • Find the Glide and Extension: Get these parts.
    • Screw the Glide into the Extension: Twist until tight.
    • Attach the Extension to the Support: Tap gently until snug.
  3. If 12 Inches or Less:
    • Find the Glide and Bed Support: Get these parts.
    • Screw the Glide into the Support: Twist until tight.
  4. Double-Check: Ensure everything is secure.

Step 3: Attach the U Clip and Bolt

  1. Find the U Clip, Bolt, and Wing Nut.
  2. Place the U Clip: Over the top of both Supports.
  3. Insert the Bolt:
    • Find the Hole in the middle of the U Clip.
    • Put the Bolt Through: Ensure it goes past both Supports.
  4. Secure with the Wing Nut:
    • Screw the Wing Nut onto the other end of the Bolt.
    • Leave it Loose: Tighten fully after attaching everything to the bed.

Step 4: Attach the Support Assemblies to the Bed Rails

  1. Prepare the Support Assemblies:
    • Extend the Supports: Pull or slide supports to reach both bed rails.
  2. Position the Supports:
    • Find the Cleats on the bed rails (small ledges or ridges).
    • Place the Ends of the Supports over the Cleats.
  3. Attach with Screws:
    • Find the 3/4" Screws.
    • Line Up the Holes on the end of the Bed Supports.
    • Screw in the Screws: Use a screwdriver or drill to tighten.

Step 5: Adjust and Secure the Glides

  1. Check the Support Level.
  2. Adjust the Glides:
    • Twist the Glides: Right (clockwise) to raise, left (counterclockwise) to lower.
    • Recheck the Level: Adjust as needed.
  3. Tighten the Wing Nuts: From Step 3.
  4. Final Check: Ensure everything is secure and level.
